about

The End Of Julia were a four-piece emo/indie band from Tyler, Texas that were around from 1999-2003.

"While Tyler is better known for its roses and not necessarily known for its music scene, The End of Julia emerged as a force to be reckoned with in the overall Texas indie music scene. The band played well-received shows with such indie staple bands such as Pop Unknown, Blue Tip, The Gloria Record, Cross My Heart, and Rainer Maria. The End of Julia also successfully toured the U.S., released a full length album (Sunday Driver), and appeared on several compilation CDs such as "The Emo Diaries, Vol. 5: I Guess This Is Goodbye" and "Ten Thousand Screaming Children: A Tribute To The Cure." The members of the band went on to play in various bands such as Rockett Queen, The Conversation, Pretty the Quick Black Eyes and Scara Brae."
